Can someone tell me the diffrence between acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and classical guitars?

And i also need to know wich 1 is best to start out with, if t depends on what i like then ok.. Take in mind that i know nothing of guitars
Can i practice an electric guitar effectively without having it plugged in to an amp?
