Classical Guitars

Whats up guys, umm i was kind of wondering if going to college for classical guitar study would be an extremely bad idea. Basically, what work if any is out there. Poverty is not a problem for me but, I am practical, and if it absolutely desolate I would definetly appreciate the tip haha. Peace and Thanks in advance.

There was an Ad once in a guitar magazine I saw that had these lil things you could put on nylon strings so you could string it like a regular acoustic guitar, instead of having to tie it to the bridge and all that. Where can I find those? What are they called?!

I would like to know whether you deemed them superior to others or just how you liked their sound as a whole. Also, if you could juxtapose them to D’Addario strings (Which my guitar was previously outfitted with) that would be great. Thanks!

I got a good answer on this question before, and thought that I chose a best answer too soon. I want some more works if any of you got any, so I’ll be reposting this question. I doesn’t just have to be limited to the composers listed below. Thank you for any help you can give =)

Where can I get cds and albums of Bach and Chopin and other great composers translated into Classical Guitar? No other instruments but Classical Guitar through the album. I know there is tablature translating Bach and such because my guitar teacher has a lot of it, but are there any albums with just Classical Guitar playing classics?

Links to sites that provide this type of stuff will be very much appreciated =)

Some Pachelbel works would be good, too (such as Canon).

Would also like the works to be full, not just highlights and such.

I want to explore into this, since I’ve recently become interested in progressive rock/metal and intricate guitar work. Thank you.
