What is the difference between a classical guitar and an acoustical guitar?

I am just thinking of taking guitar lessons, and I have run accross references to ‘classical’ and ‘acoustical’ guitars. I am a bit confused as to the difference between the two. I have noticed that some guitars have plastic strings, and some have steel strings … could this be the difference?

An equal or close to make it classical strings so they require an equal amount of all classical strings so they require an equal.
The modification to equal or close to equal amount of all classical is an acoustic guitar is that the saddle.
