I want to get a classical guitar but no one in my area gives lessons … how different it it from playing a regular acoustic?
well I thought that’s what it’s called, I mean the kind with the nylon strings or whatever instead of the metal strings …

The cafe range of fingerpicking technique happy trails.
An additional ease of playing body types can vary but are normally in the same from technical standpoint the difference as youve already alluded to play the nylon upper strings which find much easier to learn slightly different style of sizes.

I didn’t know there was a classical guitar, I only know of electric and acoustic, but your second answerer was wrong about them all being the same, because I have seen a twelve-string guitar before. so your first answerer sounds like he knows what he’s talking about!

For picking whereas acoustics are made for picking whereas acoustics are made for strumming although obviously you can pick them also.

No idea, darling, but you play beautifully. I don’t think ye need lessons…..will you play me a song at bedtime to sleep to? I missed out on lullabies as a child, ye know. And then I tried ta get Mr. Gibbs ta sing me one once, but he looked at me like I was mad, and said, “Now, Captain, that wouldn’t be very piratey!” *sniff* *pout* EVERYTHING doesn’t always HAVE to be piratey! Pirates are people, too!
